I’m Bar.
An engineer in Vienna.
My career began in operations. That still shapes how I think about architecture, automation and technical responsibility.
From an alert to its context.
I started in NOC and technical support at Ness in Tel Aviv. That led to DevOps work at Cynet, cloud operations and SRE at Tricentis, developer experience at Österreichische Post, and most recently AWS platform work at ADMIRAL.
Those roles have involved different parts of the same problem: how does software remain deliverable and operable as infrastructure, teams and requirements change? My focus is the practical engineering at those transitions.
Vienna is my base.
I work in German, English and Hebrew. My background includes on-site work in Tel Aviv, remote collaboration from Vienna, and platform environments at Austrian and international companies.
In collaboration, I want technical decisions to remain understandable. What do we know? Which assumption are we testing? What changes, and how will we know it helped?
